Sandra D. Lecoq
is a young artist who has developed her personnal work through working from time to time in collaboration with other artists (video with Olivier Bartoletti, sculpture and photography with Karim Ghelloussi, drawing with Noël Dolla…)

Sandra D.Lecoq was invited to create an exhibition for the Dojo as a way of exploring her method of working. The resulting work is titled Délicieux Cadavre exquis ou l’histoire de la ”Sainte” famille recomposée (Delicious Cadavre exquis or the history of a ”Holy” recomposed family). Not just a concept, this work represents a true desire to invite artists who know each other and who would enjoy working together, thus defining trough their collaboration, the theme of the exhibition.
All the artists involved in this exhibition play an important role in Sandra D.Lecoq’s work.
The project was developed over a long period, with the creative process beginning one year before the exhibition itself in November 2006. This time allowed the artists to think, experiment and create with her. They were able to interact artistically, to react to each other’s suggestions and to interrelate their responses.
The exhibition uses different mediums (drawing, painting, sculpture, video, photography, writing) to spark ideas and let them take form, to think of new creative contexts and exhibitions.
Sandra D.Lecoq’s aim is to share and set up the conditions for an exhibition based on relationships, to make sense of personnal, creative, artistic and plastic history and to bring all these ideas together for others to see, in the history.

CATALOGUE / EDITION
